Thanks, I'll check the output later today. Originally I was thinking this was specific to Windows 11, but looks like older Windows 10 systems are are now also attempting to make these connections (after some Windows Defender update?). I've just never noticed it because the default on those machines is to silently deny any traffic that isn't explicitly allowed.
Does anyone know how can i install the latest new notepad with tabs and mica on iot enterprise ltsc? I currently have the old one now and would like to get the new one
Hiya, It won't let me post the link, but search on the Microsoft Store for: Windows Notepad. I hope this is what you was looking for
i would install winget as its usefull to install apps and update them and then install notepad as to your old notepad not working reset it or reinstall , settings optional features
Start PowerShell as administrator. Then type (without quotes) the following and press Enter: "wsreset -i" After waiting a few minutes, the Microsoft Store will appear in the Start menu. You install what you want from Microsoft Store.
Hello, Just to clarify, I can daily drive Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 right? There is no evaluation limitation? Also, If I've understood properly, it's still a preview build. Will we migrate to the regular stable build once it's released? Or some hacks/reinstall are needed? Thanks a lot. Have a great day! Tomatot
There's a leaked iso that's not eval, as far as I remember. Will be the current major build(26100.xxx) with some monthly update(the numbers after the dot).
So that leaked build of 26100.xxx should be fine to install as it should be the final version that will be released to the public and get the same updates?
Since the leaked iso is 100% the released to OEMs ISO it's the real deal, the original download links published were direct OEM links.
I installed the all the x64 and x86 appx listed there, no dice. edit: had to unblock msft licensing domain, now it's working
Does the Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 build follow the Patch Tuesday schedule? It's now Patch Tuesday and no updates are found on neither Windows Update nor this website. Not complaining, but just want to get to the bottom of this.
24H2 builds are not yet on the regular schedule. They will get updates opportunistically, whenever MS sees fit. That will change only when it's close to release.
