i know now what it is. used msmg toolkit to remove packages defender etc. then installed os and WU refusing to install updates. thing is that no matter what package i removed using toolkit after installing os updates always failed to install only when used untouched iso that updates are installing any advice ?
Heres a recap of the evaluation so far with 26100 releases: they dont seem to remember window positions or sizes well audio mixer values/volume wont stick after reboots in chromium based programs (either internal mixer or using EarTrumpet) quick settings tile dont have way organize them/delete/add notepad version is not the new one with tabs, its classic some installations takes really long once in few days sudden reboot - nothing in event viwer some drivers (mainly network+bt) making the system unstable/snail pace - need to cherry pick driver versions WD dashboard doesnt open system is sluggish (even that is also on its every win11 in general I tried) still have ms-gamebar link pop-up when turning on my gamepad (btw how to fix this) a bit higher cpu heat then 23h2/22h2 some icons looks funky, non anti-aliased logi g-hub button assignments dont always work

I'm trying to upgrade from Windows 10 LTSC with 26100.1.240331-1435.ge_release_CLIENT_IOT_LTSC_EVAL_x64FRE_en-us.iso and it's telling me to turn off Bitlocker because it's not supported. Can anyone confirm that Windows 11 LTSC doesn't support Bitlocker?
10 ltsc has bitlocker on or off whatever, 11 ltsc has it on 11 iot ltsc has it off you're trying to upgrade from 10ltsc to 11 iot ltsc
The items quoted are also my impressions. And I have a new one: "The stub received bad data" when running some programs. Haven't seen that one in a long time. I'm currently on build 994. This really seems like a pre-release version. Hopefully these issues will get fixed by CU's over time. Cheers.

Mysel They're very different os if you're just home office user choose iot. Doesn't have almost any apps apart from defender security crap you can disable if needed.
Go for latest 24h2 iot ltsc it ain't perfect yet but works alright. If you won't remove defender you will be able to install updates as 24h2 ain't finished yet.
