Agreed. This issue is also happening with Star Wars Outlaws which is another game developed by Massive and running their build of the Snowdrop engine. I have two completely different systems, and the only solution is not running Windows 11 24H2/26xxx builds.

In all honesty, doesn't seem to be much point in sticking with 11. Runs ok, but doesn't have any must have features to promote keeping it and with the loss of my quick launch makes it suck. Yes, I installed that little app that brings it back, but it puts it on the wrong side and efforts to place it where I like it have so far failed.

will go in swap anyway. seems like it's time to either upgrade ram, buy another (you are 2133 mhz either, install tiny11 2311 or wait ntdev to release 24h2.
more than user another browser and disable every windows service you don't use and you don't need and it's safe you can't do.

Well.had already the same problems with 32GB. Now its just even heavier about the freezes. (and LibreWolf eating the half as before).
They say 4 GB Minimum. Everyone has 16, even suggested for games, and I already have struggles here without any game running.

I plan a big upgrade when zen5 comes with x3d

I ran many ways testing all different CPU that support enough to run (without TPM, Secured Boot and 4GB+) So, I tested Intel LGA 2011 20 cores and 32 cores as well with 64GB ECC and Non ECC with 512GB SSD, Nvidia 720 GForce 2GB and I ran with no problems with Windows 11Pro 24h2 and Windows 11 IoT LTSC 24h2 as well, No trouble..

KB5041865 fails to install on my machine with the exact same failure behaviour build .1457 had. I had to integrate .1457 to the LTSC ISO and perform an in-place upgrade to install it, but it seems that it didn't fix the issue.
This is the error in CBS.log
Does anybody know how I can fix this? Usual fixes like in-place repair upgrade or resetting WU doesn't work.

Edit: Either deleting broken reg keys in AppxAllUserStore/EndOfLife or resetting Gaming Services fixed the issue. For now, at least

i can make backup.wim of my current OS upload it to gdrive and let you have link then use dism++ simply by going to toolkit and restore choose backup.wim and you will get my os on your pc. when you boot the first time go to temporary files in settings system storage and delete windows.old, drivers will surely be different you will need to install for your motherboard and gpu also i use intell dtt for asus motherboard and if yours doesnt support it you should remove it using autoruns. also on my current os i have removed mstore and disabled everything updates so you wont be able to update photos etc i did that as microsoft made expl photos app few builds ago was 150mb nows 900mbs and nothing usefull added. if you will want store and updates work again i can help you make it work you just have to add few services back to svchost in regedit. if youre still interested let me know, will upload it later or tomorrow.

I've tried creating up-to-date ISO the same way as Windows 10 LTSC IoT, however, whenever I start installing, I get error message: Windows 11 installation has failed

I created ISO like this using W10UI

    Added this line:
    del /f /q "!mountdir!\Windows\System32\Recovery\winre.wim" %_Nul3%

    Before this line:
    if exist "!mountdir!\Windows\System32\Recovery\winre.wim" (

The goal was to not include the WinRE.wim

try installing an iso in the VM and updating it via winupdate then run sysprep don't forget to delete the user first

Simple reason, I don't use windows update for stability, also I am doing frequent reinstalls in about 8-12 months, and another reason why I don't need the Recovery partition is for convenience. I can resize partitions with disk management as I please, and can do backup/restore with Acronis with ease even if partition schemes are changed. This is not possible with the recovery partition present because it is created after the system partition, which prevents me to extend the partition with unallocated space located after. Unless I use 3rd party disk management tool.

Anyway, any log why is the error happening on the new install UI?
Also, how to force legacy install UI as you did here?

Edit: Never mind, thought I need to do some modifications, while the setting was there all along.
