No one needs or asking your permission, they can make for themself, and if rules say no share o well no share, it seem odd can post about leaked build but for svf.... it's a nono....
it's an easy fix with SxSv1, but if going to use SxSv1, would be better to make an svf for conversion. TSVF_v5.0.7 Code: 26100.1.240331-1435.ge_release_CLIENT_ENTERPRISES_OEM_x64FRE_en-us.svf Size on disk: 50.3 MB (52,764,672 bytes)
For note, the full .iso is found on Internet Archive. According to forum rules it can't be linked, but I can say it exists. No major issues for me. It's running better than 23H2 did at a fraction of the install size, storage space, CPU and memory usage. Games run great, about the same as a trimmed 23H2 from my perspective but I haven't benchmarked. I wish they would come up with a proper color flip method for programs that don't respect dark mode already. Seems updates for dev channel can be installed, should you find they provide a fix you benefit from. I would just avoid installing the enablement package, however. It has been said by MSFT the 26100 builds will get proper enablement in September or October when the official 24H2 launch date comes. Many system apps continue to return at update even if you removed them prior to install. Applying this .reg file to the .wim should prevent the most commonly removed apps from coming back. A few entries don't matter for LTSC. Edit as needed, it's self explanatory. Whatever you or anybody else thinks of the leaked ISO, it is NOT officially released, when official MVS ISOs appear then we can advise to install them. And please don't start promoting to mix different channel builds now we finally got the consensus to not do that, after many warnings and f**ked up installs. Apps re-appearing after removing them is occurring for quite a few years now. And again, does every thread need to be turned into useless chopping?
1. Snapdragon X (arm64) build is following the build number and update cadence of LTSC and that is officially released, I believe. The leak is not homebrew/modified, nor have I linked it. 2. It's not mixing channels if you don't trigger enablement. Check the update files to see they are released for 26100.X builds. No issues when I applied one, and if you don't unlock and use resetbase you can rollback. 3. And that hasn't changed. The 'deprovisioned' entry is Microsoft's stated place to prevent apps from returning.
As far as I know, 3 weeks ago this was only a prediction, although with a high degree of probability. It is not only about the LTSC edition but about the 24H2 build as a whole.
this is all wrong, Dev patches for 24H2 are from very different branch like Beta patches for 23H2 it's not possible to install patches from different branches after cleanup, so the only working option would be in-place upgrade never mix retail updates with the insider ones, enablement package has nothing to do with this
i tried both evaluation ltsc and iot version. windows defender UI doesnt open and gives an error "we cant open this `windowsdefender` link" but defender is working background.
For someone coming from a old rig and only used the LTSC version of windows 10, and I might add is a huge geek of tinkering tweaking etc, buying the absolute latest rig, would you recommend to start using this non-final Windows 11 LTSC build? Because new OS etc is a big step but is this stable enough? edit: Maybe good to add what I use windows for; Music Production and mixing sessions, graphics in general but novice and a new rig might let me play more, AI-Training models for music mainly but really the main reason of new buy. Gaming is Bloons TD 6 and LoL... you get what I mean by that.
I've been using it for a month, it's stable and it's final as long as you're on the retail channel. but performance is the issue, UI response time is sometimes huge and some users see CPU usage spikes and temperature rising on this build
It was clear the build was going to be the official one when the official thread was started:: DISCUSSION] Windows 11 Enterprise/IoT Enterprise (N) LTSC 2024 (24H2 / 26100.x)
First of all Thanks for the answer even tho it's a bit out of context and second sorry for one last question even further away from the topic but software/apps, drivers, tweaking, (limiting, optimizing customizing) W11 in general, does it play along well or does it need more than the usual purge and is it even possible? Thanks again btw
Its flying over your head if everyone started saying yeh throw this on your computer it works amazing nothing will happen to it and then something happens who do ya think there gonna blame 1st its not rocket science but its beyond funny how some are thinking a leaked build is official or stable build but just updates to a latest release lol
Windows 11 ltsc two name .. 1: Windows 11 ltsc and iot ltsc 2: windows ltsc 2024 ( name for windows 11 ltsc N sku .. ) +( source : official eval iso two index )
So much F.U.D. in this thread. You don't install a release preview unless you can spare 1 to a few hours to reinstall should something not work right on your rig. You also make a system image first, so you can just reinstall your old OS. So why do I see people doom-and-glooming? MSFT, is that you? Bad custom image makers, maybe? People with old af drivers and unsupported hardware? Normally, I'd agree. However the experimental features are not enabled and the codebase for both branches is the same because it's in full development. 26120 will be the official branch by autumn, now is a totally different beast than later. You do you, though. Spoiler: updating 26100.470 patch to .560, no issue
no, it won't, just like the 22635 fake build, it's only for the dev channel (maybe the beta channel in the future)
