Installing 26100.1 again, LTSC and normal, yesterday nothing on WU, also not after enrolling into the Canary channel (IoT LTSC or normal LTSC? Are you on supported hardware"?)
IoT & yes supported HW But WU wasn't available until after I manually upgraded with new ISO. Then WU offered update errored out.
So you were on 26100.1 Enterprise 2021 LTSC (or IoT Enterprise 2024 LTSC <=== doesn't need the new system requirements) and WU didn't offered the LCU either, next you upgraded by 26100.2 ISO and the LCU was offered but didn't install?
Yes sir. I started with 26100.1 IoT Enterprise LTSC....upgraded with modified 26100.2 IoT Enterprise LTSC ISO. Then LCU was offered and did not install. Yes sir. On a qualified machine.
Weird that ijn my test the LCU installed (at least it reported complete on WU) after the inplace upgrade, all ISOs i use have netfx35 enabled
I noticed that when upgrading with an updated 26100.2 with .netfx35 pre-enabled it is not enabled after the upgrade is finished, weird indeed @RobrPatty new test with LTSC without ,netfx35 enabled, nothing is offered on 26100.1. I think i need to start over with testing, clean slate
So is 26100.1 IoT LTSC confirmed to be RTM build? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...e-ltsc-2024-preview.88019/page-9#post-1831076
26001.1 IoT LTSC upgrading with mounted 26100.2 ISO. 26100.2 installed netfx35 enabled default. CU will not install. 26100.2 disabled netfx35 CU still will not install ReEnable netfx35 CU not available Disabled netfx35 again & CU completes Apparently this is a common fix for a failed CU update.
What kind of confirmation you need? Common sense is more than enough here. Maybe LTSC will be released officially as 26100.448 or something. But it's pretty clear that the major build is final
On my test with a clean install of EnterpriseS 26100.1 netfx35 can be enabled by update and netfx35 package is downloaded and installed, but without inplace upgrade to 26100.2, lcu is offered on WU, but fails to download even with netfx35 being disabled after being enabled.
