updated from official iso, no insider, system is updated to 22621.382 after update I had dozen of issue as PC refusing to shut down PSU on restart after I moved system from intel to AMD for last year, that is sorted, now wait to see if desktop will start to bug but that need a week run test, so far all looks fixed
That only gives you highest version (i.e. beta 22621.601) checking for lower RP version needs another trick
When the build is 22621.xxx, 22621.601 does not appear, and the result returned is 22622.590. When the build is 22622.xxx, it only returns 19041.671 feature experience pack.
Aria2c.exe crashes showing a window with a 0xc0000005 error when downloading Windows 11 using the installer downloaded from UUP Dump, Rufus, OfficeRTool and Malwarebytes' installer also crash with that error as well as when updating Chrome and Edge. EDIT: It looks like the culprit is a virus called Virus.Floxif which infects all the EXE files I run, including the ones from the external HDD. I did another clean install, deleted the infected external HDD's EXE files according to VirusTotal, redownloaded the files and stopped having this 0xc0000005 error. EDIT 2: This virus apparently also infected the USB flash drive where I burned the Windows 11 installer but this time it's not an EXE file but a DLL one. I formatted it, scanned the ISO with Malwarebytes just to be sure and burned it to the USB flash drive.
When is evaluation mode supposed to switch to on or off? ive not installed anything new since i clean installed. Is it safe to just switch to on? smart app control
The "empty recycler bin" button is gone on .586 > .590, unistalled both updates and running .575 without issues.
