There was a discussion in which I took part not so long ago where the conclusion was that the version to be used for upgrades in place should ideally correspond to the version of the latest esd released, official ISO or equivalent like MCT, esd to iso, uupdump iso etc. I cannot confirm this claim, but makes a lot of sense.
Yes, and I think it's more easy replace one file only that the method you suggest. I don't know if the method you suggest allows it, but the method I suggest allows upgrade to Windows 11 22H2 from old versions of Windows 11 & Windows 10 too.
Renaming, deleting or replacing appraiserres.dll was the first option discovered to bypass the new requirement checks, but on WU it already became very difficult to do and the upgrade process started to undo the replacement/renaming/deleting at some point, The tpm skip script works fine for WU upgrades (aka feature updates) and the ISO fix done by my tool also works fine for ISO upgrades and clean installs from boot, if they didn't work anymore they would have been discontinued.
doing a clean install of 22623 but i cant seem to get around this menu and you cant use a personal e-mail only a business e-mail any trick to go around this or do i need to use a older version then upgrade to this build?
nada my friend....first time i see this disney pop up window after you setup the wifi this is what comes up....im just going to install a older version then upgrade
