safe mode issue as been around for alot of the builds, no system tray and errors when using modern UI in safemode, i feel its done on purpose for security reasons ...only ms knows
When I download the windows build from UUP dump to create the iso if I include in the download Run component cleanup (Windows converter only) and Integrate.NET Framework 3.5 (Windows converter only), when I install the ISO when doing sfc /scannow it tells me that Protection of windows resources has found damaged files and repaired them... On the other hand, if I do not include or omit Run component cleanup (Windows converter only) and Integrate.NET Framework 3.5 (Windows converter only) from the download, once the ISO sfc is installed /scannow Windows Resource Protection found no violations. Thank you
this is just random glitch from Microsoft, cleanup or resetbase is completely fine on Retail builds (but don't use it for RP/Beta channels because it breaks Insider Preview LCU installation)
Hello . I just updated my Mainboard and cpu(z790 + 13900KF) was using windows 22623.875 , I looked at windows security and I get this bios has tpm2.0,uefi,secure boot enabled , etc no issues there is there a fix for this ? I did a windows reset as it wouldn't let me use my pin and I couldn't get internet for some reason Thank you after the reset this is what it says
Try setting tpm 2.0 in bios instead of using auto, and check to see if windows needs reactivating, also make sure secureboot is set up correctly as in it doesn't say modified Clear tpm , clean install from iso with re formatted drive installation setup
tpm is set at 2.0 secure boot is set up as standard, default stock keys really trying not to blow it down has to be a way without reloading , I'll keep looking Thank you
what does privacy and security say? is it the same as defender ui? Does windows recognise the hardware change? You may need a fresh setup tbh
Please check the TPM driver, then. Code: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TPM Is the start set to 0x00000003? Also check in Device Manager if the driver has a problem maybe.
Device Manager -> Security devices -> Trusted Platform Module 2.0 Right-click -> Uninstall device -> Reboot
