It is not released for anyone to use so for all we know there is a beta version further along we don't have access to as well.

Hi, the 22623.1037 is a very good release, but with many games (Squad, COD MW II 2022, GTA Online, Arma III + Reforger, etc) has many issues (example: lag, stutter (i have the RTX 3090), and various crash), instead with release 22621 retail not happens anything of that.

Still beta if your going to game run it on 22621.1037

 

Does anyone know why KB5021255 fails to install on Windows 11 22621.885 on VMware Workstation Professional 17.0. I tried many suggested resolutions on the net, to no avail.
However, it installs fine on an identical Windows 11 22621.885 on VirtualBox 7.0.5 r154910 and ?

 

i think the issue is with WU wait a few days and see if you can d\l it.....if not get the uup app and d\l the image and upgrade manually

 

Thanks for the suggestion, the weird thing is that both are fresh clean installations. The issue must be with VMware Workstation, either Microsoft or VMware will fix the issue..
Meanwhile, I will try one of the later updates.

Update:
Changing the Virtual Disk type from NVMe to SATA, the KB5021255 update installed successfully.

 

Atleast Now there is something that looks like a buildworld / Installworld like in BSD

None of the stuff that I hate ever got addressed. I hate forced combined tasks, I hate how often I have to call up the old context menu and I hate how often I need to expand the full start menu.

People have created workarounds for this but I can't see myself using a system I actually need to be up without issues using hacks to make things work correctly.

 

22621.897 seems to be the same. Only in this way can I find the RP/Retail version, otherwise only the beta version will be returned.
