but what is the point of installing an update that you don't know what it does? On twitter they recommend NOT to install it because it has something to do with the OEMs.
Is there's news that MSFT will release windows 11 team? The LCU KB5015207 added Windows Team edition (ppiproedition)which 22000's LCU don't. retry as many times as you can or manually download missing files slow internet connection or bad CDN servers are to blame
Many, including me gets this result. One or two files did not download correctly. All you do is re-run the UUP install command again (DONT DELETE ANY FILES ALREADY DOWNLOADED), and it will check what files you have already, and what files need to redownloaded. Depending on your internet connection, it may be only once you have to do it, or a couple of times at the most
Hello again, Is there any program that allow the user to make a full copy of files and programs and then after a clean install restore that copy in order to maintain the same programs and files without taking hours placing everything again into the PC? Thanks!
You can use the built-in Backup and Restore program, Go to search in start menu and at the top type Control Panel, this should display a option to open the Control Panel. Then look for the Backup and Restore (Windows 7) and launch it. You can make a backup of everything that's in your running system and save the image to a NAS, External Storage Drive or by DVD or Blu-ray.
So Backup and Restore (Windows 7) will create a full backup of my OS maintaining files and programs? Thanks!
Yep, I make monthly OS backups of both my Laptop and Surface Go 2 and it backs up everything. It creates multiple vhdx image files that contain the whole OS and your saved apps, personal data and programs. Though the backup can take awhile to complete, especially on a system with lots of data stored. But your welcome
Don't you think it's just that the OEMs reported bugs in the first .1 release, and this .3 release is just MS fixing those bugs so that the OEMs can build their base images? If so, what would be the problem in us using this .3 as our base image? The worst thing I could see coming from this .3 release, is that the bugs that were fixed may have little to no impact/relevance to the general public.
22621.3 is available for RP and Beta Channels So change to one of those channels or dl from post 573 and update with W10UI.
