I guess i will never stop being amazed how can people come up with those ratings so quickly To pin whatever you want to start menu just make a shortcut in %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and for your second "issue": doesn't happen if you uncheck it (which is not even enabled by default iirc) so if anything they fixed a bug
We're saying the same thing with different wording I guess, but 22621.x seems to be it for final Sun Valley 2 or 22H2. That's all that matters I upgraded my production 22000.675 to 22621.1 via TechBench ISO (No Insider) on 2 work laptops and everything was smooth and stable.
Have problem to make a ISO. Whene i enter uupdownload -s Professional -v 10.0.22621.1 -r External -b Dev -c ni_release -t amd64 -e Professional -l de-DE -o dlfolder its not load 22621.1. Whene i use Beta and not Dev its load 22621.1 but the ISO not work. get media driver are missing.
Thanks. I realized that my fresh install was somehow borked and nothing was working correctly. So total new fresh install solved it. Context menus were totally broken on the previous install for unknown reasons.
not sure which platform you are installing on but this has happened to me multiple times even on official microsoft ISOs, Shift+F10 and check if you can see your drives with diskpart, if yes just install manually with dism+bcdboot
Not really, i specifically said that this would be the first .1 ISO released by MSFT in quite some years (for a build expected to be the final 11+), so we don't have to go to UUP dump to get us one.
@Enthousiast After running the Win_11_Boot_And_Upgrade_FiX_KiT_v2.2 in the generated 22621 iso when opening setup.exe for upgrade it shows windows server setup instead of windows 11 setup and it shows error
Looks like the issue was with my ISO created using UUP. Created once more and it's working now. But the Fix kit 2.2 still shows as windows server setup, but 2.1 says Windows 11 setup. Now upgrading will post results soon
@ashoktvm; shows as windows server setup on my side also but when check winver it says nothing about windows server so guess its only cosmetic.
The server showing during setup is related to the method of fixing the ISO, that's not the subject of his posts, it was the upgrade not proceeding...
well , ive rebooted lots of times, shutdown, run games, found no bugs apart from captions. Usually something will occur like the dev build did that caused me roll back and choose this one
