Technology marches on and stops for no one... In the past, I could do everything I needed to do with Windows XP! Then I decided to transition to Windows 7 32-bit and that's when the trouble began. As Windows 7 was steadily updated, I wasn't able to find an updated Intel video driver to work with it. So then I began to consider getting a new PC. I suspect that as we transition from Windows 10-11-12, something similar is going to happen. Memory integrity problems will increase. Windows 11 (or 12) will report that our drivers are out of date, and the OEMs that make the drivers will be too busy shifting resources to build and support new hardware. We will be stuck having to buy new hardware...AGAIN!!! I don't see why it has to completely be this way. I've installed Windows 11 on Intel systems from 2nd Gen CPUs to 11th Gen CPUs. While the newer systems can quickly process larger chunks of data than the older ones, the speed of the human-machine interface has hardly changed. It's planned obsolescence... I guess I should be grateful that there isn't a time bomb loaded into the BIOS of my PC that causes it to self-destruct on a preset date and time! Like with "Mission Impossible": This message will self-destruct in 5 seconds!
[QUOTE="donmiller, post: 1803190, member: 730984" I don't see why it has to completely be this way. [/QUOTE] In one word? Capitalism. A guy familiar with the matter, called Karl Marx , said that capitalism to work has to destroy what has already built, historically that happened with wars (and still happen) but, recently most of the developed world started using a different technique, planned obsolescence. And even obsolescence enforced by law (see some exaggerate anti pollution norm about cars and other things). So, nothing of this is a surprise. A bit more surprising are people waiting desperately for a new feature that they will never use, often don't even notice, and almost always dont even understand...
what nomber have all builds now rtm = 22621 insiders release preview = July 28, 2022 22621.317 beta = August 24, 2023 22621.2262 and 22631.2262 dev = August 25, 2023 23531 canary = 17 August 25, 2023 25936

try to enable it with vivetool...very limited hardware support though, gigabyte fusion ..icue and Logitech wont work on my system ..dont know if thats because i already have the software installed though
tested with Vivetool and I don't have the option after the reboot Are there 2 IDs to activate or just 1 ?
just the one id i think, the support files are probably already there as they get ready to ship it over, left out the toggle
I don't have the option, I thought it was because no RGB device was detected but I should at least have the menu
the menu still shows up regardless, seems you cant enable it just yet as they have left out key components
