After trying many things, for now, I switched back to the previous build. Strangely, I noticed that creating a new account, I got it the new file explorer; so the issue is related to my account…

there should be an icon on top shaped like a heart named browser essentials click it and scroll all the way down, if you can't see the icon, go to appearance in settings find "browser essentials button" toggle and enable it .
I have issue in windows 11 23H2 b. 2361 copying large files from hard disk to usb flash did not complete and windows lost the usb drive so i must reconect it again and trying copy without successful when i tried the same copy by windows 10 successfully copied without any problem to the same usb flash drive what do you thinking the problem in windows 11 23H2 b. 2361 system or in the new windows explorer ? because it slow and not good as previous version
It does the same when transferring some files to my NAS. I thought it was me, like I had some issue with my NAS. What happens is that sometimes when I move or copy a file from my desktop to a random folder on my NAS, the copy starts as normal, then when it gets to the end, the progress/transfer bar goes back to 0% and it copies again. At the end of the second copy Windows throws a File Not Found error (the file on the desktop, not in the destination, this is regardless of if I was moving or copying the file), even though the file is complete and still sitting on my desktop. Even if I select it again, and copy it to the NAS, the same error happens. When I look on my NAS, there are multiple copies of the file in the recycle bin. This has been a random thing for about 3 months.
Any idea of how to disable windows backup app or to disable windows backup permanently, and delete earlier backups stored in C:. I have a feeling that windows is creating backups and they may be progressively bloating C:.
