just toggle spotlight off, choose pics or something and reboot, turn spotlight back on. then just go in and out of lock screen a few, works sometimes. you can switch to dev channel , but if you have something thats broke ..things can go wrong, best to clean install with the iso they provide or uup i use bing daily wallpaper app for desktop so dont know if spotlight is working for desktop, it works for lockscreen
22635.3130 upgrade installed without a hitch. Running fine so far. I'll say that this is the most complete bugfix list I've seen in the Insider's group in many years, if not since the beginning in 10/2014! I hope it continues.
I've already tried everything. Full memtest is ok. Full chkdsk is ok. No virus. CPU/GPU/SSD benchmarks and gaming are ok. DISM and SFC have no errors. It was the update.
It most likely was the update combined with the local situation, if it was the update on itself we all should have experienced problems.
I did a couple of days before the update and everything was fine. By reading on Reddit seems that uninstalling the update fixes it. I will try tomorrow. EDIT: Cannot uninstall the update anymore... Well, I'm screwed until next update I guess...
Backup all your data and do a clean install , sometimes after you have upgraded so many times you get this kinds of bugs, best start fresh safe yourself the headaches.
Happens also on clean install (as for the Reddit user who reported it). It's this specific build causing issues with Xbox peripherals' drivers.
I am on Windows 11 Insider DEV and "get the latest Updates soon as they are available" is greyed out? is that correct or are something wrong with my settings?. i was on 23h2 before i went to insider DEV
yea dont use them if you plan on entering safemode, they dont load, something microsoft forgot to check before Certifiying them and releasing them on windows update i just rolled them back, keyboard and mouse were listed as other and not input, probably why they dont work in safemode
