  2. i already hate windows 11 and its slow/stupid/buggy designed file explorer. Today i found another stupid thing. when you try to open a folder by double clicking there is actually a pop up writing as "Working on it..." appears everytime in the upper middle section under the address bar. this writing appears so fast and vanishes immediately

Maybe a stupid question but on what hardware is this win 11 running, what build is it and what did you do to it?

This is my response, it's not worth mentioning it, then i would be nitpicking about a millisecond flash of "working on it";)

    My hardware is:

    i7 11700, 64GB ram and running 22621.3235.

On my older hardware i run IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC.

  7. it is actually not only that thing appears but when you try to open a folder or surfing between folders in explorer there also happens a flashing effect in whole window like popping up everytime, because it is Completely BROKEN and slows down surfing experience in File Explorer. This is a HUGE BUG that has been going on for years.! and surprisingly nobody cares:mad:
but when you do F11 two times to go fullscreen and back, this time "File Explorer" works as it should be like in the old days:cool:, no more flashing, no more popping up like effects, it is super fast lagless :)and also this "working on it" doesnt appear anymore but... off course it comes with another bug again(LMAO):D that stucks the address bar before you did an F11 and it doesnt refresh anymore...

Imagine an operating system where the name is Windows, but the windows don't work properly..:roflmao:

i admit i was complaining all the time when explorer was actually bugged ....these bugs have been fixed since the public preview went live, you may need to clean install from an ISO
using the built in reset option will not fix such bugs
You could try resetting windows search and indexing first
If you have indexing switched off because youre using an nvme, re enable it ..its been optimised for nvme/ssd's for a longtime

Most people have sadly gotten used to the file explorer in Windows 11, but hey it's always nice to see that some people still have functioning human senses and can see and feel the sluggish experience that is Windows 11 file explorer.

People seem to think it's hardware related, it's not. A big part of it is they're transitioning to making things utilise WinUI, and WinUI performance is terrible, hell even Microsoft mentioned it somewhere on github, lol

I only use explorer when i have to drag and drop something on a cmd, for all other stuff i use total commander.

And i still don't see any reply to my initial question, i ask because many people are trying to run 11 on ancient hardware but complain it doesn't work well, others are f**king with windows, don't mention it and also complain about windows.

Don't get confused i would give a f**k, 99% of the complaints don't apply for me and most is just nitpicking/ocd's about small stuff in life.

The only thing that really bothers me is that drag and drop on the taskbar opened apps is not working well but also that can simply be avoided.

What are you talking about? That toggle for Copilot is supposed to be there. You must of f**ked with your OS so much that you broke something as usual.

  12. all your questions answered above already read carefully and my first pc was not a windows 7 but windows 3.1
you also answered my question as "it doesnt happen on my hardware" and i show you that happens on your lovely super hardware too with a ScreenShot of your gif. I'm observing distractions in you.

Please enlighten me where you answered my question about the hardware you are running win 11 on, i only read stupid lmao replies.
I showed a video, in realtime. My hardware is already a bit outdated by now.

So, what hardware are you running win 11 on?

  14. What do you make of that? " it has nothing to do with hardware because it happens on my new compatible pc too"

So, you are not willing to inform us about the hardware you are running win 11 on but feel the need to complain about it showing some progress info.

    Then quit this nonsense.
