i use it without an channel.. thats why i had to manualy install that...

 

Same error happened here!

 

There were some that were getting the error code 0x800f0988 when trying to update to .169.

 

i try to fix it atm with admin terminal and

dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
sfc /scannow
then reboot and trying to install again

if someone also wanna try

 

Not enrolled in any channel, had no issues updating from 160 to 169.

 

lets ask a simple question here..
that users who cant update : did you use an .160 iso to install that windows ???
a custombuild one for example from UUP ???
maybe thats the problem...

users that can update what iso did you use to install ???

 

Mine was a .160 ISO from UUP.
