i just created an iso for 22622.436 from uupdump and mounted it on my windows 11 install and installed it, but it installed 22621.105 instead? what am I missing?
Please show us the full uup>iso conversion progress, most likely it didn't integrate any updates. But then i would have expected you to get 22621.232
Then there are no updates integrated during UUP>ISO conversion and the upgrade downloaded the 22621.105 LCU.
ok that might sound stupid but i solved it removing all the scheduled task and the startup stuff from amd (i recently installed the drivers+adrenaline garbage) using ccleaner after restarting everything was fixed now i just need to know how to remove the AMD Adrenaline entry in the desktop right click menu.... And btw latest 436 beta seems waaaay snappier than the rp
I use the latest intel irst driver and my os is not disk 0 , win 10 or earlier win 11 22000 never did this
As enthousiast said it didnt download right cause if it did would say 22621/2.426 if so just redownload it and should work then or if ya have the folder still with it just run it again ya dont need to do it in safe mode either
I happened to be in safe mode for another reason, but yeah that did turn out to be the cause, I'm on the latest release preview build now, just redid the script outside of safe mode and everything worked fine.
Does anyone here know that if you are in the Beta or Release Preview rings, would that force Windows Update to install drivers? I'm running Win 11 Home and have set a group policy to block WU driver installations, I have set registry keys to stop WU from installing drivers, and I have even run the MS tool wushowhide, and told it to block the Intel display driver, yet it still keeps finding and installing it! Any ideas, other than shutting off WU?
Most, if not all, of these Group Policies don't work on Home / Home N / HomeSingleLanguage. MS deliberately excluded Home Editions.
