The RP channel Updates are downloading fine: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-11-hotfix-repository.83741/page-42#post-1749615 The entire UUP set has no generated packs yet, so i will have to re-publish the links later on (again)
Why is windows still consolidating ssds when maintenance is run? They shouldnt be defragged, like wtf microsoft Is there any tips on stopping maintenance from doing this?
HDD = Performance is optimized if you put file fragments sequentially. (defragmentation) SSD= Performance is optimized if you take cells marked as deleted and 0 them out. (trimming)
Code: reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Dfrg\BootOptimizeFunction" /v "Enable" /t REG_SZ /d "n" /f reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OptimalLayout" /v "EnableAutoLayout" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\Defrag\ScheduledDefrag" /Disable sc config defragsvc start= disabled Windows 11 was already defragmenting SSD twice, it is only as matter of time before it happens again.
A new CU for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 is available for 22621/2 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-11-hotfix-repository.83741/page-42#post-1749700
