About Drivers . . . Most, but not all Win10 drivers are compatible with Win11. I have seen Intel release different drivers for 10 vs 11 for their gigabit ethernet and for Bluetooth connectivity. The Intel Win11 drivers would not install on Win10 systems and installing Win10 drivers in Win11 were problematic.
sorry, all misread my secret page cannot share it no 22621.575 won't be a new iso as I understand 22621 isos that are on the insider's page is what you get it just updates to.384 as of now playing around with betas CU's not the way to go stay with regular updates that are released public forget insiders this way you don't have to have a problem and reinstall the OS over and over ,I believe whatever happens when MS release 22/H2 your fresher installed 22621.xxx be ok , anyways I am starting to believe Win11 is retarded I work a lot faster on 10
I need help with CustomAppsList.txt from UUP Dump. For example, do I need the Media Codecs for normal OS operation? Also, do I need these apps for games like Forza Horizon? What I am asking specifically here is, are PC games in general dependable on these apps like the example I've given? Code: # Microsoft.GamingApp_8wekyb3d8bbwe # Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay_8wekyb3d8bbwe # Microsoft.Xbox.TCUI_8wekyb3d8bbwe # Microsoft.XboxSpeechToTextOverlay_8wekyb3d8bbwe # Microsoft.XboxGameOverlay_8wekyb3d8bbwe # Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_8wekyb3d8bbwe # Microsoft.PowerAutomateDesktop_8wekyb3d8bbwe And what does this line include? Is it necessary? Code: Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00_8wekyb3d8bbwe The other ones are self-explainatory so to speak... Edit: My goal is to remove bloat apps that I don't really use, but I like to keep those who are "needed" for normal OS function without popping errors here and there. Edit 2: Does SkipApps=1 skips all above apps?
@0xExynos - Media Codecs are used by Media Apps, not the OS or desktop programs i don't know if Xbox apps affect other games - Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00 is VC++ runtimes for UWP Apps, it's added with frameworks anyway - AppsLevel=4 would cover most needed apps - yes, SkipApps=1 means no apps or frameworks
Nope, 22622 is a virtual, temporary, beta-only build number. It will most probably simply be dropped and all builds unified. Yes, it means going one number back, but it never really was there, in the first time, just a marker for force-enabling the features.
UUPdump do not support any of the Apps options in the converter (yet or never?) manual configuration is the only way currently
is there a tool to install msix? i thought windows was supposed to convert it to appx? Also when searching for Disney+ store link i get not available for bots to index?
Thanks for confirming. It may be worth mentioning somewhere more visible than in a thread reply well hidden from most casual users of UUPdump. Somewhere like the ReadMe.html file which comes with the zip file generated in the first stage of the download and/or as comment in the convert-UUP.cmd or CustomAppsList.txt, wherever the configuration is documented. Otherwise this functionality is great stuff! EDIT: As a side note while on this subject, I noticed that Microsoft Teams and Edge are the only other Apps installed regardless of the CustomAppsList.txt configuration. While I understand Edge as being treated as core component of Windows like IE was before (and still is), do you know of any reason other than promotion for Teams to be pushed more than the other apps which behave as expected?
I think you can double click on the msix if you have Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller on the machine. You would normally have it if you did not uninstall it.
When does the RTM iso usually drop before official release date? Official release date is September 20
...judging by the latest developer tools, the final version will be 22621.382.ni_release_svc_prod1...
