I was wondering why this update popped up all of a sudden asking me to restart my machine although I disabled automatic updates. Now all is clear. Thanx
22631.2338, performance is great ..only 3 bugs ive found, 1 which most will never come across so i doubt it will get fixed, other are just the sizing on taskbar, widgets cut off on startup, and the search icon is overlapped by the label on search icon and label option ..no biggy i jinxed it....explorer is lagging when i open it now, all i was doing was playing cod fps halved again, been working fine since i installed it last week, so its defo spyware thing taking resources i had cod on vsync so i couldn't tell you when it started, everything was working perfect , i started playing cod around 12am and stopped at 4am i rebooted and noticed the feature configuration pop ups aswel, maybe some data collection poop is running gutted, theres no point in restoring an image because it will just kick in again got delays in right click menus also
I know this is OT, but I'm devastated with the news of Panos leaving Microsoft. Love him or not, he created the Surface line of devices which I believed is one of the most beautiful hardware in the market, and a driving force behind the reinvigoration of the Windows UI in Windows 11. I was excited for the upcoming Thursday's event until today. MS confirmed that he won't be joining the event when he previously announced that he was attending. Him leaving abruptly and plans changed to the last minute tells me that something is up, and who knows if we'll know the reason what happened and why. It's an end of another era for Windows and MS. This situation was very similar when Terry Myerson left in 2018 then Windows went into limbo for a while. Sad day, but still hoping for the best for the future of Windows.
Can you confirm whether the white light flashes while opening a new TAB for a micro-second (while Open file explorer is set to: This PC) is fixed in this build/branch or not? This issue has been there since the 22621 (22H2) branch and even after so many CU, they didn't fix it for the current retail channel builds.
well, I was asking about 22631 branch On another note... 23H2 gonna release today or on Thursday the 21st?
yes still present what ever is causing the slowness is on the delay start, i guess i just have to wait until they get what they need lol, like 90% sure its a Microsoft thing its just not playing well with my setup i have 2 images that are rapid still...i want to see if it clears if i disable spectre and meltdown theres an improvement , but i was getting same (if not better) performance with them enabled all last week, only a 30 fps gain which in theory ..when the system is running well it would give me 130 fps back instead of the 100 without the protection Nvidia is getting all the negative feedback ..blaming there drivers, when infact it is indeed microsofts fault
they showcasing on 21st ...apparently this will be announced Windows Central ‘s Zac Bowden believes an official announcement will take place at the company’s confirmed 21 September event, before general availability in October.
Microsoft is starting to get things ready for the Windows 11 23H2 feature update, by releasing the ‘Windows Configuration Update’, if you have the “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” toggle turned on. Microsoft finalizes with possible 23H2 feature roll out:
