I'm sorry but some of your posts leave me confused. If my understanding is correct (still waiting for someone to confirm) the new Calendar app is 16005.14326.20090.0 which I posted a screenshot of and you replied saying it wasn't the new one. My previous one was 16005.12827.20400.0 When discussing new software version numbers, it's about that, not what it looks like. Probably best you do it your way and I'll do it mine.
That's why 22000.1 was and still is the actual Win11 RTM. People will just download and integrate the last CU which will be available in October to it (e.g. 22000.250) without even notice and be on the final retail Win11 version. For us who got 22000.1 ISO through UUPdump conversion and clean installed it beforehand (with No Insider enroll), we are getting there too, just a bit more slowly, week after week...
Just clean installed 20000.132 Dev enrolled via @abbodi1406 script, ran Updates in Store. Relevant app version numbers I have now: Store - 22108.1401.0.0 Calendar - 16005.14326.20090.0 Calculator - 10.2109.7.0 Snipping Tool - 11.2108.0.0 (Take a snip then Settings menu to see version). As mentioned earlier, being unfamiliar with modern apps, I've no idea if these are as up to date as they should be? Rebooted, ran wsreset - no further updates in Store.
Or perhaps this isn't what we need it to do? I'm not trying to run a damn file to open, I'm trying to quickly drop a file into a program - not just the same program always, either - FROM the taskbar. You know, like we've been doing for, well, a good decade or two at this point... Try it with images or audio files a few hundred times then get back to us.
That started with the release of (iirc) 22000.65, when you installed 22000.1, or .51 and you were connected during OOBE, it updated the OS with the SSU/LCU. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...channel-co_release.83722/page-79#post-1673711 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...channel-co_release.83722/page-79#post-1673727 And it's horrible, if there is bad internet at the location of installation you will have to wait a long time, also when it's not the best hardware you are installing the OS on. Best to offline update the ISO pre-installation, or keep the hardware offline during oobe.
