Failed to install on VMware Workstation Pro, it gave a compatibility error --> Clicked on the X and pressed Shift + F10 to get a CMD --> Started Diskpart and created 4 EUFI partitions --> Used Dism to Apply-image (install.wim) to the created Drive from the mounted CD --> used bcdboot C:\Windows to enable the installation to boot --> restarted and finished the installation. It seems fine.

Then expect an update from VMware to meet the new requirements... P.S. The taskbar icons are off-centre in my case!!

could not install this update on a VMware VM, said the hardware was incompatible for the first time since I was using windows 11 in a VM. I was already using UEFI and secureboot in the VM but that was not enough, apparently. I had to add a TPM to the VM and also encrypt the VM, then windows update saw the hardware as compatible and the update installed fine. I know about the .dll swap trick, just wanted to fix this the 'official' way -andy-
I have already configured the VM with EUFI with Secure Boot, enable encryption and added a TPM module to install this version. It can also be removed after the installation. However, whilst this requirement was the same as the previous version, the previous one updated without any change to the settings. Hence, an update will be due to add Windows 11 to the list and whatever changes they feel fit; then we will go through the same story of issuing fixes to the fixes!!
Post updated as you were posting. Link was temporary while I made screenshots showing the procedure to encrypt the VM and add TPM emulation.
I tried so many times to dl it in Danish from uup but your trick did the job and I got it from win update without a problem.
Simply replacing the appraiserres.dll in the BT Sources temp folder is mentioned successfully working numerous time for WU upgrades, or fix the uup dump ISO by option 2 and all will work when ISO upgrading.
fix the uup dump ISO by option 2 I know about yes it works, but I couldnt Download the Danish iso from uupDump all time i Tried with this version it gives me error wich I mention in earlier post. So now I know for next time do like written here in post 29.
