Strange that id did not work for me i tried like 3 or 4 times, well will remove the TPM from the VM and decrypt it and try again once the next build comes out

When you setup VMware with secureboot and tpm, then there should be no need for bypasses, cpu is not really blocked.

All my tests are done on several old legacy bios only laptops from the vista/win 7 era, one more modern laptop with TPM1.2 and a i7 5xxx cpu and vmware setup as legacy bios only on my i7 3770 main system.

Upgrade - in VMWare... no secure boot, no tpm 2.0 deleting AppraiserRes.dl allows the installation to complete without issue

Upgrade - on Hardware... no secure boot, no tpm 2.0 deleting AppraiserRes.dl allows the installation to complete (if accepting a secondary ALLOW on unsupported hardware prompt) without issue

Currently running 22468 as my Daily Driver... buggy but love the adventure... to be added to / edited with issues that I have come across

one thing I will mention is ... the apparent limitation as to what can be PINNED to the Taskbar --- currently have 15 items pinned
also System Tray has 13 items in full view (single line/level)... so currently adhereing to combine (never)

as yet have not applied any changes/tweaks.... prefer to work with something.. until it gets really annoying

I know but VMWare yet does not allow to have a TPM with an unencrypted VM and i dont like my VM's encrepted, as the volume thay are on is already encrypted, thats just a waste.

But afaik the seam to be looking into releasing a version where you can have a TPM without the need to encrypt the entire VM

I'm having the same issue on my machines.

Upgrading from 22000.194 to 22468 fails shortly at 0% with a kind message saying "Windows 11 failed to install".

Apparently, the log mentions that Windows "failed to load the monitoring filter driver".

    CPUs tested:
    i7-3610QM
    i7-4700MQ

I'm going to try upgrading to earlier builds to see if it's something regarding a direct 2200.194 -> 22468 upgrade path.

I got the same problems before too, but after waiting a while after running WU before starting the upgrade it didn't occur anymore, and it never happened when i installed a clean <win 11 release and started the win 11+ upgrades.
