Host 22000.282 - Virtual box - i was able to install previous 22449.1000 version with bypassing checks via registry entries - now unable to update this version on VM - no TPM / no secure boot virtualbox dont pass TPM/SEC boot from host ( runing 11 gen cpu and my host pass all checks ) - is there a way to update on " unsupported" VM or i need to reinstall each major update ?
For install from boot, you might also need to run the standalone script (the bottom one) from this post or it will not work in VirtualBox. Script is made by @BAU. I have to apply it or VirtualBox is blocked.
He doesn't want to clean install every dev channel release, but upgrade And as shown, vbox does work for me.
And as shown, for me, it doesn't. May be the latest VB releases work, but, 6.1 doesn't run on my host OS and 6.0 crashes. The VB 5.2.45 is all I have, and MS has blocked it. The script is necessary for me, and maybe for some others. Just because it works for you, it doesn't have for everyone.
Same goes the other way around, what doesn't work (in your very specific situation) for you can work fine for others.
