I've intel Gen 6th, can i install this dev version? I heard if i install on unsupported CPU, it will not get any updates, is that true? Just to make sure about this before i install
Take a copy of appraiserres.dll from a Windows 10 sources folder and replace that same file in the sources folder on the Windows 11 build you want to install and you can install Windows 11 on any system compatible with Windows 10.
Yes, by fixed ISO you can either clean install or upgrade on unsupported hardware. Updates you will get but now new feature update (= actually a full upgrade) to newer builds.
Noted. I just want to get latest update features. I heard Dev version will serve new features fastly. Would you like to suggest version? Is dev version suitable for daily usage? Fixed ISO mean using post #10? What did you mean newer builds? Same like version upgrade like 22H1 or 22H2? or others?
I'll try Win 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT v2.2 So, i'll download full image dev version? almost ~ 3GB in size ,, right?
If bandwidth is an issue I remind you again about #10 - run the skip tpm script, then subscribe to dev via OfflineInsiderEnroll, reboot, then search for updates from settings. It's just 1.46GB download that way, but will take a bit longer to finish vs running setup from media (which btw, if you run the skip tpm script you don't need fixing for, it will be automatic).
hows this build for daily driver? is the usb/video analytics error fixed in event viewer? im running beta at present. Or if anyone with knowledge on how to just remove the usb/video analytics log fully ..please post. Ive also got abug where restart triggers a shutdown and then restart instead of just restart.
Depends. If its a DD that you could not possibly care less about formatting and reinstalling then go for it. If its a massive PITA if it starts flaking out then just stick to official builds.
All Dev_Channel Builds are Beta & WILL EXPIRE. So if you like a certain Dev_Channel Build You Cannot keep it. Daily Usage ? Depends on how much experience you have working with Beta Builds.
I just tested this build and it fixed all my translation problems. I hope they bring the fixes to stable channel soon.
So next Week we should get the 1st Dev_channel Build of 2022. Who thinks we will get New Features OR it will be another Bug-fix Build ?
