Thanks for the tip and the workaround. Since I use the CMD.EXE instead, I don't need the WT.EXE, but it is rather ridiculous, that this Win 11 Build offers links to on-board programs/tools, which don't exist anymore.
The Windows Explorer of my clean installed OS cannot find a file named wt.exe. It may still exist on an updated Win11, but obviously not within a clean installed variant. Attached is the proof:
Actually on a clean install it usually exists (Stable channel). However on a upgrade from Windows 10 to 11, it will not exist and it will give you that message. Let me ask, did you clean install any recent DEV build? If so, that would explain that issue.
Then you will need to integrate the apps into the install.wim file, instructions are provided by @BetaWorld . https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-channel-ni_release.85094/page-2#post-1726200
That would require much work and a new fresh OS installation. Here is a much easier way to get the missing/desired Apps installed: The CMD command "wsreset -i" installs the Microsoft Store and then all other Apps can be chosen.
I just installed 22567 Pro on Hyper-V with Local Account. Drag and Drop to the taskbar works great. I tried it with Edge, and GSKILL Trident Z Lighting Control and they both worked. The original icon showed up fine.
The wsreset -i method works but you still need defender appx to get it’s GUI. That is unavailable in store.
@Fernando 1 you like more insider preview for clean install and working system why dont you use 22000 stable build?
