MpCmdRun.exe starts when Windows starts up You need to kill it immediately!
It's amazing. I just went into the bot sd and deleted it. C:\Program Files\Windows Defender C:\Program Files (x86) all related Defender C:\ProgramData\ everything related to Defender C:\Users\all related Defender in Users, I deleted everything that was Defender. The funny thing is, the system still works. there is no MpCmdRun.exe in the system And also there is no Defender in the registry The system just came to life after this nasty thing.
All Windows Defender has been removed from the registry Disable the Services\fhsvc service before uninstalling Windows 11 works fine without Defender
It's not new Completely remove registery services folders Can kill defender and system will run flawless
Im trying to remove microsoft flight sim from my system, for some reason it says its uninstalled but the app remains in startmenu. Ive removed reg entries, and force deleted contents from windows apps but the app still persists in startmenu. XBOX wont allow me to reinstall either. Anyone know how i can remove this from startmenu. I dont want to fresh install windows. So the app as gone but xbox app wont let me select a location to install it? I dont know if its rtelated to the dev build or not, i do know that forza 4 wouldnt work with previous dev builds untill microsoft fixed it
Just a finding: It seems that the latest DISM (10.0.22598.1) has some issues that lead to failures in integrating the update packages. Please see the output below and search for "Error" - there are a few. Earlier versions of DISM are fine. I tried the same thing using DISM 10.0.19041.844, and everything worked OK. Ive come to the conclusion that anything game pass related or needs to be installed using xbox app is incompatible with current builds, i tried installing other games and this is all i get. I have 3 drives with plenty of storage.
I am not using my PC so much nowadays so I am not update with what's going on in the Windows world but I noticed that these insider builds have no inbox apps baked in to the OS so you can chose to skip them during iso creation. I decided to try this build with the skip apps option but I noticed that taskbar settings won't open and when I right click on start button it is crashing :/
Set AppsLevel to 1 instead to get minimum apps Store + Security Health + Frameworks (required for Settings/Taskbar)
What are the differences between Windows 11 Insider Preview build 22598.1 and Windows 11, version 22H2 Insider Preview 10.0.22598.100? Thank you
The latter is just a CU for testing the update pipeline. It usually does not contain any features and fixes for the dev build, at least not officially.
Anyone know how to get the mica effect on title bars in explorer? ive set the edge flag and that doesnt seem to work either.
