its pretty fast once you open the window for the fist time, like right click is slow on first open ...same with folders and explorer
Windows 11 is slower than all modern older versions of Windows. It feels like nobody at MS remembers how to optimize code for performance. I'm waiting for Windows 12 to be totally coded in HTML5, nothing would surprise me these days.
I think what we're seeing is the result of the context menu code not being loaded initially for some reason - or getting unloaded from memory at intervals - so when you right-click something it has to be called back into memory. Or it COULD be a result of an undue amount of processing having to be done to generate the menu.
Usually, delays in opening the context menu are caused by gathering and loading shell extensions - the more, the slower. Plus, we now have code which is slow to begin with, and it must actually load two context menus - the old and the new one.

App runtime main just got updated ....things like powertoys run and execute install not working ive not rebooted yet though, windows update is download something even though its paused so im going to wait for that first So the problem only lies with powertoys, they switched from desktop runtime to app runtime sdk, not working
