I know. I'm just pointing out that they seem, to have much lower requirements to test builds with an expiration date. I have never run into any issues with my "Underpowered" machine. Even the Android subsystem works perfectly. I think that they should just admit that only Enterprise builds need TPM 2.0 and loosen up.
This is normal behavior for simple hotfixes, this never was different, from 25145.1000 > 25145.1011 is not an upgrade, just simple hotfixes. Feature updates are not hotfixes, those are full upgrades to an entirely new build. All my posts are trying to be helpful or at least keep the facts straight, a hard job to keep up these days. There is no difference between 22000.xxx, 22621.1 (no watermark) compared to 25145.1000, both have to meet the minimum system requirements or fix to be able to install.
I'll get a screen shot of it next time around. I am not ever offered updates beyond security on this install, except for this one specific time.
I don't know what to tell you since 25145 simply downloads over WU and installs hands free, while the non watermarked Dev builds. When I go to the Windows Update > Windows Insider page the warning message says "your system does not meet the minimum requirements RECOMMENDED for WIndows 11, and there may be issues and bugs that impact your experience" Not the same message you get when it refuses to upgrade without intervention..
Anyone have DirectX 12 working or know how or if it can be fixed? I'm using AMD's 31.0.12001.2008 driver (WU) on this Insider build, and DX12 doesn't work (dxdiag and GPU-Z don't report it, and Diablo 2 Resurrected crashes on startup) Using vkd3d with D2R seemingly works fine for the most part! But I'd prefer native DX12 if it can be restored.
I'm guessing it's driver related. I don't have this problem with 22.5.2 WHQL and D2R with DX12 works just fine.
