While on 25252.1000 did not have option to change Search Options. After installing .1010 & Update Stack Package I now have Search Options. So these 2 things did add something.
When you shut down pc, the next day you have to do it all over again, Must be a way how to deactivedes it for good.
Yes it does work cause I have 25252 and it works fine. But when you shut down the pc it enables by default, If anybody has a solution for that let me know. Cheers,.
Supposedly MS fixed SMB transfer speed with this build, it's surely improved but not fully fixed. Speed is capping at ~67mb/s for large files, 4gb+. it used to cap at ~56 before.
I don't have the answer because I'm on the move. (I can't test) but maybe the solution is in regedit.exe or gpedit.msc ->Start Menu and Taskbar
Today I started my pc and all was good, transparent bar, maybe just a one shoot deal but it's working fine. Cheers.
I have the same menu. The problem is sometimes the picture not changed at all. This is what happen to you in your screenshots.
That file was larger than 4gb, tried even 8gb ones. Just scratching my head, it stupidly maxes out my 2.5Gb NIC. I just switched to a new router in last days (BPI-R3) and pretty much been testing things for hours. Not sure if something has really changed.
I want to add something. SMB speed I commented on before was for inbound traffic. Outbound was capping at ~75mb/s on previous builds, now it's going slightly over 100mb/s. So this one seems to be fixed.
Both should be on Windows 22H2 System 1: I have a Z690 + i3 12100 based Raid5 Server with 3 x 14TB hard drives System 2: I use Z690 + i7 12000K based PC with 7000 MBps R/W NVMe drive Mushkin Vortex 2 TB drive Both systems have Marvell AQC113c 10Gbe cards connected with Netgear 10Gbe switch. When I installed Windows 11 22H2 22621.900 Retail channel build on System 1 which is my main file server, Transferring a 30 GB file TO System 1 gives me average 90 MBps (720 Mbps) speed Transferring a 30 GB file FROM System 1 gives me 110 MBps (880 Mbps) speed When I installed TrueNas Scale on System 1 Transferring a 30 GB file TO System 1 gives me average 300 MBps (2.4 Gbps) speed Transferring a 30 GB file FROM System 1 gives me 590 MBps (4.7 Gbps) speed So F*** Windows and F*** Microsoft
