Task Manager doesn't work. There were also green erkan BSODs. I have never seen a more glitchy version! A lot of unnecessary stuff in the tools!
On this build, the Windows 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT tool, is no longer able to support Intel Core 2 Duo, can't install it.
Installed windows clean. Icon shortcuts are not displayed If you press F5, they appear as icon images.
I get the same error using Windows Update. Using the WUMT it doesn't even show up as an update. On Build 22000.2245 it doesn't show up there as an update either.. Is it a glitch or something not needed??
Task manager is working for me sometimes when i reboot the machine i get the blank icons but i just hit fresh and they all come back......same issue with the previous build......try installing again ontop of that one like a upgrade and see if that fixes the refresh issue.
time for a newer computer Intel Core 2 Duo just doesnt cut it any more for this latest version of win11 and soon win 12 will be here best start saving some money
That way doesn't work anymore when updating 11 Canary to the latest version due to file compatibility check. MS wised up with file attributes. It is necessary to use a different method, when I find some time I will open a new thread how to bypass this problem as well.
My Core 2 Duo T6500 doesn't even boot from any USB atm (maybe it's because it's 15 years old?), the tool has more than one option, did you try them all? EDIT: it boots 22621.xxx, testing option 4 (the old install.wim swap trick). With 25921 USB it doesn't boot at all, On a i3 4360 it still works fine (also ancient): https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...l-project-mrp-mk3.71555/page-505#post-1800066 EDIT2: Working for clean install. EDIT3, it booted and i was able to start installing the OS but at the first reboot during OS installation it doesn't boot up anymore. Update: working fine on first gen intel core ix: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...l-project-mrp-mk3.71555/page-505#post-1800340
yes, i tried all options. maybe it's time to update this tool to make it compatible with Canary builds. test equipment: HP Compact 6000 Pro MT PC Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz 16 GB DDR3-SDRAM 1333 MHz 500 GB HDD
This build seems to have serious problems with certain chipsets. In my VirtualBox, using PIIX3 chipset, it fails to boot, but the alternative ICH9 seems to work, so far.
Anyone else stuck in a Cumulative Update for .Net 3.5 and 4.81 install loop? It keeps demanding a reboot, immediately after rebooting, and does not show in the update history.
I still get pending restart in windows update. I used abbodi1406 code for the install. Everything went well. After the reboot I checked the windows update again and it showed pending restart still.
