26100.2 is a leaked LCU, following a somewhat public build, it is not offered on WU in any channel, only when the inplace upgrade with a 26100.2 ISO is performed it is offered on WU to update some components. You won't get it offered on WU otherwise. 26200.xxxx is a test channel build.
This is the first beta build I have ever had to uninstall. I got all kinds of strange prompts about allowing apps to run, D3D warnings and Steam games refused to launch with the play buttons greyed out. It might be smoother from a clean install but upgrading from 26100 is the first time ever I actually had real issues with a beta build.
Will 26100.2 receive anymore updates or is this it for this leak? im using it now is very smooth but if it never receive any more updates it will useless after a while.
I can't think of any other explanation than that for Canary having such a small build jump, but it does bring up a couple questions. First, Dev can't remain static for too much longer, so it would seem that if it's in fact going to 26200 then it's going to do it very soon, as in this month. If so, what of Canary? On the one hand, I think it would be unprecedented for there to be another period of alignment between Canary and Dev so soon after the last. But on the other hand, it might also be unprecedented for Canary to quickly make a second non-trivial build jump as it would almost have to do once Dev makes its move.
I kind of seems like it must have no watermark or timebomb because it is possible that a new PC could have this version and they obviously can't be DOA if you restore them or boot them for the first time years from now so I guess that also means that updates will come.
I 'm running ver 24H2 and 2 hours ago Windows Update. Updated my computer to Os build to 10.0.26120.461. Whats up with this? I came here to find out anything about this . And, to my amazement there is nothing about this build. Apparentlly MS is not on vacation this week.
Ok. That makes sense. I have left my toggle on get the latest updates. At least for as long as I was able to. I haven't been very proactive the last 6 months. Due to both parents passing since November.
