    Surely win8 was the faster, then20 sec to install classic shell, two powershell lines to remove all the square apps and win 8 is usable as win7 or win10. And faster than both.

    Found it, this used to work, haven't tested on the new build, can anyone test on .71?

    %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

    I am on .65 still, and that surprisingly works, but it only removes the new toolbar. The crappy context menus are still there... any way to get rid of those, as those are the main reason I am holding off .71, where the "SeparateProcess" hack does not work anymore, apparently. Thanks.

    i know for a fact that the method i posted still works on .71. as for context menus, it was posted here before...

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell\Update\Packages]
    "UndockingDisabled"=dword:00000001

    not sure if it still works.. i dont mind the new one. just wish the More Options was a flyout instead of reload..

    Thanks, that trick still seems to work. It reverts everything to how it looked in Windows 10, albeit without a functional Start menu (when clicking Start, nothing appears). No that big of an annoyance, one has to install a 3rd party Start menu. Also, Win+X does not work, again, depends on how often you used that. Explorer is like in Windows 10, along with the proper context menu. You also have access to the new control centre, which is kind of necessary since the battery and network flyouts are broken. Anyway, thank you.

    An annoyance is that logging in takes a bit more, Explorer gets stuck a bit but it eventually displays properly and one can launch apps etc just fine. I don't recommend using Explorer from Server 2022 as that does not get you access to the new control centre, plus the taskbar is unable to display buttons for modern apps, like Settings, which is very annoying.

    I Have the explorer 2022 installed, but purposely I reverted back to the W11 thing, before the screenshot, just to prevent that question.

    Apparently was not enough.

    Try this way

    Edit: never mind, not working

    Win+R > paste and run

    shell:::{BB06C0E4-D293-4f75-8A90-CB05B6477EEE}

    Yeah you're right I tested that in w10 only

    Indeed I wrote "try" given I was unsure and not in w11

    For the record AMM displays the buttons also for metroish apps (I use them so much that I didn't notice the missing button detail)

    As for control center, do do mean the metro settings or what? Settings are working perfectly for me, perfectly is a strong word... thy are working as MS intended it...

    For example no way to enable the remote desktop via the metroish thing, same setting from the CPL worked as usual.

    Hi

    Is it possible to download just the Windows 11 Setup files like one in the link below from UUP Dump?

    I'm ban on that website due to low ratio and cannot download and I could not find these files anywhere else.

    I already have windows 11 iso 22000.71 that I downloaded from some torrent site and I'm using it, I just want these setup files for some other reasons.

    Thanks

    I'm new here and not allowed to post any link but it's on teamos hkrg windows 11 x64 page with a name "Windows 11 Original Setup Files (ISO).

    I suggest to make new thread for any new build that appears since merging all new build in one thread make it unaidited. I dont know what is new in new builds, which i need to browse through many pages in order to find about it.

    No it is not. RTM will have all of the files with the same build numbers and it will at least have Windows 11 in the registry.

    Clicking on time/date often causes whole taskbar to reload. Anyone else is seeing this?
