I upgraded from windows 10, first 22000.1 up to 22000.71.. The updates never reset the defaults on my system, it kept what I had set as my defaults, browser, jpg, mp4 etc. etc.
I did it using WU, which is how most will do it when it comes out. On first start up there were a whole host of soft bongs, each announcing an app default had been reset.
I agree 100% and more I may be wrong but since my "idol for his intelligence and audacity" Mr Bill Gates stepped down from the top job at MSFT things were NEVER the same again of this I am sure
Do you know the reason why i use windows? Because of some cracked games i have But thanks god Lutris is becoming better with time, and then we will see how microsoft reacts with windows, when they loose gamers and the adobe dev guys ... oh and between i bet microsoft is paying adobe not to launch linux versions of their sw.
But it will promise far more usability enhancements and features which your average CU for Windows 10 doesn't promise. TBH I am back on Windows 10 19044.1110 build and I instantly noticed how snappy and smooth it is compared to Windows 11. Windows 11 has a long way to go when it comes to UI refinements and snappiness.
I went back to 22000.1, lol, seems snappy to me, I think of it as the latest win 10 with a theme over it, lol
22000.1 is indeed snappier. Most likely since its like you said, Windows 10 with a theme to it. (Rounded corners theme)
Maybe. But after the convenience of the new Windows 11 context menu, I can no longer use Windows 10! So I'm looking forward to a new build despite the problem with the driver for my Canon printer on Windows 11.
The updates will be published in the hotfix thread and announced here when they actually are offered.
