today or tomorrow, but Windows 11 still lacks a lot of productivity features in the UI compared to Windows 10.
In my country Whatsapp is the most used chatting app on mobile and if we are on our PCs we use its Web version! Why do they thing we will suddenly switch to Teams? Teams became popular because of Covid and people were using it only as a business/learning tool and no one is using it for other things This will be another failed Windows feature Anyone remember people?
It is on the whole yes, but the Default Apps section is missing the one-click options that were present in Windows 10, making it unuseable for most 'normal' users.
Still inferior to control panel. It takes many extra clicks to do something and eventually reach win32 applets. It still lacks information density of control panel.
However, many fluent and dark mode dialogs counterparts are still missing, and this ruins the continuity of the user experience (especially with tablet).
Somehow, I got a bit used to 11 by now. I like menus and designs and its the 1st time im not upset about moved settings and stuff. It feels so...clean... Its still beta and simple settings/menus crash here and there...which honestly shouldnt happen ?! Cant wait for the final 10x !!!11
Some people just cannot accept change. There are people still on 7 using a third party app to look like 98. I had to force my Mother kicking and screaming onto 10 after 7 support ended.
And yet weirdly, I know an absolute 7 holdout who resisted 8, 8.1 and 10 despite increasing performance as they went over 7... but installed the 11 leak and hasn't touched anything else since. So they must be doing something right.
