Still needing VC_runtime Minimum_x64.mis to install some games and also AMD video driver. MS sucks with this, anyone have luck fixing this problem
I know M$ does read these things, so a problem with your CHAT app. Its bad enough you have to give your phone number over, that I can live with (just), BUT so far it has to be a phone number that can receive text messages for a code for final access. MANY in the world have phone numbers WITHOUT TEXT FUNCTION. Care to have an alternative method to get that code for those people.
In Windows Security -> Device security Is it possible to get standard and enhanced security to be displayed there as enabled? I vaguely recall doing something in Windows 10 to get enhanced shown, but so far in W11, I've only seen standard hardware security claiming to be unsupported (I have TPM and Secure Boot enabled)
Fair do's but surely this is sloppy design/implementation, there's clearly no need for anything to do with Default Programs in Control Panel now. Surely the colossus that is Microsoft can be neater than this, unless as mentioned they plan on removing it.
Perhaps, your system specs didn't meet Windows 11 requirements. For example, you may have TPM but version 1.2 and a lower processor as well.
Calling fat a cpl file + a small .dll is misleading to say the best, unless the new settings become a 100% replacement for the control panel, while being as easy to use, removing useful things would be just stupid. The had 10 years to accomplish that task, and they failed. I can't see how hat can happen in the next 3 months.
Okay. That is strange. I would suggest you update your BIOS if the necessary features required by Windows 11 are enabled. I can see virtualization-based security is not enabled as well. Check your msinfo32 detail.
