my hardware just wasn't good enough.....H'mm I would guess MS employees don't have old 12 year old computers so how would they know, for me Win 11 works perfectly on my old computer using the bi-pass TPM check and as I was a fast insider in W10 have been accepted in W11 for updates.
Exactly. 22000 is the version number of the CoreOS, which is finalized. Further Feature Experience Packs and CUs will still be issued for refining the stuff on top of that CoreOS, like the GUI (Desktop Experience) and Apps.
22000 is main core so a cu will fix as my post here https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...hannel-co_release.83722/page-146#post-1679310
If build 22000 is final, you can install Win11 now and install the upcoming CUs. But there is a possibility that they will find a ''critical bug'' in this build so they will update it. It happened before.
It's stil designated IP, now in the BETA channel, when it goes to clients (expected to be in the FALL of 2021), it will get the "Final" state.
so ms released 22000.100 to beta channel I think it should be good to get on my main computer as i want linux app with gui anyone using it as daily is it good enough?
Sure, but, if no showstopper bugs are found, people can already clean install 22000.100 via UUPdump -> ISO and already be onboard with the last full build of Windows 11 release and just receive regular CUs via production Windows Update up to official launch CU in October and beyond (no need to upgrade to a newer full build or clean install again).
If 11 is installed from files stored here instead of the Beta channel and the user is not an insider (sob) will regular Windows Update still work prior to the release?
If you mean, when i already installed 22000.xxx, will i be offered updates on WU? Yes. When it still was offered in the DEV channel the hotfixes (regular updates) where offered on WU, even when not enrolled into the DEV channel.
