It's just what they detected internally, .111 was pulled too, so when no working links the info is just speculation.

I wish the Dev Channel would get a Nickel build this week already...

And some people see a round number and assume everything and know nothing.

Sadly true, and it's growing too:(

Best to know nothing and just watch the processes continue.

And they could be right. The point is that it's all based on assumption, not any kind of evidence. Only time will tell. I'm the kind of person that will always admit when I'm wrong. So when it comes down to it if this build does eventually turn into an RTM with a huge cumulative update, I will admit that I was wrong. Stay tuned.

While i may agree with the 22000 is RTM thing, remember MS already threatened with blocking/deleting all possible bypasses for Win11 to run in "old" systems when it hits GA.
And a CU for 22000 may not be enough for their goal.

I know here someone will anyway find a workaround when that happens, but its a way to say that they already got the "Critical Bug" excuse to bump 22000 before release :p

What are the chances MS will f**k me over later if i'll start using Windows 11 on a PC without TPM capabilites right now?

100 percent. But the chance that a work-around will be found before the sun sets on MS's method is also 100 percent.

Anyone remember the release of XP? everyone waiting, finally released at noon, someone discovers that the protection can be defeated by replacing 3 files before dinner.

So far they've stated their intent to force it in an interview. I've speculated that they could tie activation into needing TPM, but if they really wanted to they could incorporate TPM into a lot of the system functionality. We can only guess what they will do and none of them will even be educated guesses because they've never done anything like this before.

From the screenshots I've seen, Windows Hello and Windows Bitlocker require TPM at the moment. Those are apps, and they could expand it to system processes.
As for advice I would suggest not using this on your main OS unless you are willing to lose your data if you do not have a TPM chip or firmware.

Best of luck to them reverting people who have their own copies of the iso from uupdump and can firewall/sledgehammer/defendercontrol stuff.
