Well, to be frank, besides the fact that it works really well. the additional telemetry and services related to it along with the Windows Defender make short work of the dual-core processors, you want at least a quad for the 11, or a modern 2c/4t like Icelake. Even my 4790K gets hit 100% during some operations (like updates). The only workaround to this would be disabling / killing / tweaking CPU intensive operations (work in progress currently; Edge WebView2 is such a CPU hog). I strongly recommend, a modern 6+ core processor for the 11. Windows 8.1 is still the fastest, for the older computers, time and time I come to this conclusion again. So, it's actually not a bad thing if Microsoft wants to block installations on older tech, because the whole experience won't exactly be as intended.
Just a little note for anyone who hasn't noticed, Sledgehammer actually fails to stop Windows Update on .120, unless you are using the 2.73 rc version. So update!
A new Local Experience Pack dropped in the MS Store... so yeah... new build later today... If nothing goes wrong and MS decides to cancel it.
