Ever read the EULA all the way thru ? It is a Lease Agreement.
Ever live in an Apartment ? You Lease it. You don't own it. Same thing with Windows.

I once read a passage in a computer mag about software licence agreements. They said if the same type of agreement was printed on a Cornflake box, it basically stated that by opening the box you'd agreed to the terms, and the box might not actually contain any cornflakes.

 

Well, depending on where you are in the world, EULA's are not legally enforceable anyway. A company could add any terms they wanted to one. But they can't enforce it.

Belive that Microsoft will postpone new UI changes next year, with Nickel branch.

There's no new builds with similar changes from weeks.

 

In leased apartments tenants have the right at least not to be spied upon by their landlords!!!​

 

That is why Microsoft has a $ Multi-Billion Law Division to back up the EULA.
