I have literally never seen that message myself since @mkuba50 later @whatever127 invented UUP dump years ago. What did you select on UUP dump?
I use a program called MKVToolNix to merge multiple subtitles, audios, picture thumbnails into a single video file. There are 2 ways to add multiple types of files together into that program. Either select the files from windows explorer and drag them into the program or select them from inside the program itself. It is extremely convenient to select from windows explorer and drag and drop the files into the program, especially if the files are scattered inside an unorganized folder with a lot of different types of files. I can still do that in windows 11 with alt+tab. Hope they don't remove that like taskbar drag.
so, finger crossed. do anybody have this strange issue about menu bar in explorer ? recently i'm changing the theme to dark mode, but whenever i tried to switch it back to light mode, the menu bar still showing black color (maybe it is a known issue that i'm missing for)
All good here, just tested Not that I'll put that crap anywhere near any of my systems, lol, but still.
Try to double click or [right-click -> open with] multiple mkv, srt, aac, png files altogether to open into a single application all at once.
What's wrong with Windows Defender ? Says it needs ''a new app to open this windowsdefender link'' It won't open, ran a ''sfc /scannow'' but it didn't find anything.
I use MKVToolnixGUI for muxing (great software), its header editor is also great. I've not tried it in Win 11 but I assume it would be just the same as you say, multi select in Explorer and drag and drop into the program, or multi select via the file requestor (Add source files). Only thing that niggles me about the new taskbar is the removal of add toolbars, the quick launch bar was a fave of mine. If the taskbar remains as is, hopefully we'll see third parties developing stuff to expand it, Stardock have already done a beta replacement start menu. Update: (Drag and drop into the program), If my understanding is correct, what ppl are disliking is the removed ability to drag and drop on to a program on the new taskbar.
It's really up to the application whether it starts another instance or not. Most modern apps have a loader that processes new application start requests. You can see this in most video games or high end apps like video editors, but you won't see it in something simple like notepad. Have you tried double clicking files and seeing if they work the same as dragging and dropping icons onto the program icon?
So if i want to import 20 textures into Unity i have to change extension association to Unity, click 2 times on every texture, change back extension association to image viewer/editor... How is that faster then ctrl-a && drag&drop?
