So they really going to force the idiotic TPM requirement which nobody wants huh.. mind blowing. For me this OS is bigger fail than ME and Vista combined. Doesn't bring anything relevant to the table, it's just a new UI for Windows 10 with poor design revolving around touch screens and also with tons of new annoyances. /Clap
Yeah same here! Imagine all the extra work and trial and error if they would do stuff on the kernel and ofc the waiting on new drivers
Maybe they could also uniforms it, instead of just update it every time. My poor retinas crying when white and dark windows appearing together.
Official ISOs are on .132, you get the update to .168 from Windows Update. UUP ISOs are created from the update files and are on the install time at the version they say
Oh noes, not having to rely on ourselves rather than the OS to protect us from the big bad internets! If only there was something other than taking personal responsibility that we could do! Say, if someone were to release updated ISO's or there was some sort of a uupdump where we could get such things...
To do that, i always use a nice shortcut attached to the taskbar pointing to "slide to shutdown" since win 8 era
Is there a way like a registry tweak to add the "Empty Recycle Bin" to the File Explorer top menu like it already exists inside the Recycle Bin? I hate going to the recycle bin every time. Or at least remove the Network icon since I dont use it and add a shortcut to the recycle bin?
If Microsoft wants TPM to be enforced, updates would be the way they would enforce it. With updates, they replace existing services and components with different ones. Usually those just fix bugs or patch security vulnerabilities, but they could replace them with code that checks for TPM, secure boot, etc. If you wanted to avoid this, the last thing you would do is use Windows/Microsoft Update post-release. We're still in the beta phase and it hasn't finished development so you kind-of have to keep updating, but there will be a point when the final version comes out. At that point, future updates would only be likely sources of TPM enforcement.
