just deleting the appraiserres.dll in /sources also skips the hardware-checks when you do inplace upgrade.

also this Version 22000.51 is not a typical insider preview as winver doesnt show it being a DEV build and also the watermark on desktop is not there, and it doenst have a timebomb.

i guess it is somehow "final" and from now on, only updates.

I did a clean install and after didnt sign in with microsoft account nor insider program. lets wait if i will get future updates.

All on "unsupported" 4th generation Intel CPU, no TPM.

i think now that the bypass options for secure boot and TPM will stay. as the normal user maybe wont be able to upgrade their old machines the simple way, i think they will let the IT-pros do whatever they feel like with the bypass options.

WHY DID THEY BREAK KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS THAT EXISTED SINCE WINDOWS 95? Right click>M to rename>N for new folder, R for properties. What a massive loss to producivity. Do Microsoft devs use tablet mode or something?

Clean Windows 11 install using the UUPdump generated ISO.

I have the same widgets panel and old store.
Could be that i’m runnin on intel 4th gen CPU by usinng the registry bypass hack …

Still wondering why the pure Windows Update method isn't working for everyone, even after rebooting. The problem is the Secure Boot/TPM 2.0 message about a minute after starting. Any ideas?

Sure, the ISO method exist, but WU is supposed to work for all current Insiders the normal way. And we'll be doing this every week, after all, so it would be nice to understand.

It seems that there are things that will not appear for people outside the dev channel

What version do u have? .51?
Day 1 update is included the new ui's which is the .51 version.
I have the all new ui, except the store. kinda weird.

It’s buggy and slow as hell right now.
They will slowly integrate the new features into the OS.
Right now it feels more of a Windows 10 skin.

I created the iso using UUP script and installed it but the version is 22000.1 not .51. How do I download .51?

No update here. Maybe because I'm installing in VirtualBox?

I just did the registry mod and used a patch appraiserres.dll. Updated through Windows Update. No issues at all. Running Win11 now without TPM. Secure Boot is enabled though.
