Of course the dev unstable build lol. It’s not like beta is very stable (the taskbar bug last week) I use beta on my main pc but there’s nothing important in it and I have a disk for backup. Answering your question without irony… go for the beta
gonna update to this one very soon - .184 released on a Thursday we'll see if MS will release a newer one after .184 next TH 9/16
This is a poor quality rebuttal. Microsoft could easily have one create a local admin account and then also a standard user account for regular use during the oobe. And they could have a page in the oobe explaining why this is such a good idea and the security implications, and the option to opt out and do it the old way. You know, the way almost every Linux distro has one create a root password and then set up a standard user for daily use. Because it is a best practice and Microsoft should encourage good operational security for everyone. Why do you actively defend Microsoft's poor decisions? Are you a Microsoft employee?
Why do you actively defend "almost every Linux distro" in a windows forum? Are you a Linux developer?
I have done a clean install with build 22000.9 and it ends up installing update 22000.184, so it seems that 22000.9 is going to be the one that comes pre-installed at the factory on new computers.
Said it before - 22000.1 - The foundation system that everything is built on for W11 (loads of bugs) 22000.9 - The RTM/OEM system stable enough to release to manufacturers and show working on machines, in stores etc (some minor bugs) 22000.xxx - Automatic CU update to the "latest", including features and bug fixes.
Updated the Win 11 (22000.184) Updates Overview: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...c-beta-channel-co_release.83722/#post-1669627 Complete 22000.184 x64 updates package uploaded
? I remember this being explained before, last tuesday. every 22000.xxx install updates to the latest ssu/lcu when connected at oobe.
Yeh, I have come to the realization there is no one RTM/OEM version everyone is hanging out for. The way it looks, M$ will just keep rolling out updates CU on a needs basis. So if you dont want a UUP version, and are anal about an official ISO from M$ just download WHATEVER is released -(currently 22000.132). Myself, since this is constant flux, it doesnt mater the source, it will get a CU in no time. Either that or wait 6 months til it settles.
