Can probably just drop out now tbh. I am running Win11 on a VM and a laptop without being in any channel its just a fresh install from Win11 ISO and upgrades on the day via windows update with the same build insiders get on beta channel. So as soon as it does go "golden", "RTM" or whatever you want to call it these days it would just update to that build and then update like any other standard none insider, bog standard Windows. You wont be missing out on builds, you wont be waiting for updates to show up. It's basically the same as public releases only right now its also taking the insider updates until the final one pops up.
Not me but then my i7 7 series laptop.... - so maybe in a couple of weeks I'll be booted out, Everything else is fine but the CPU is on the non-recommended list
You are so right about this. I have a decent laptop I got late last year for portability. Basically I needed a computer to use when over at my woman's house. It was $500 on a Christmas 2020 sale at Costco. It is almost on par with the desktop I built for myself Christmas 2014. TLDR: A decent home built desktop will still be faster than a decent laptop 6 years later.
Not Not many if so none but I had asus rog laptop which fried and change to msi gaming tower (at my age the laptop was useless and heavy) and now I'm so happy for what I have.
