in Windows 11 preview build, Teams refused to be deleted MS do lot of effort to add, built in, unnecessary tools. and they make it Un-Installable in purpose. why we need special script do disable edge for example, instead press Uninstall like any normal software
As I've stated in previous posts, this is correct. People who bypassed the system requirements and installed 22000 on unsupported systems will probably receive cumulative updates until 22000's end of life 24-36 months from now, but newer builds will probably require manual installation with the system requirements bypassed again.
I expect you have tested the methods to remove Edge too? That also keeps coming back? I just did it in a VM, whether it's a crude method I don't know. Get the Edge version number from Settings > Help & Feedback > About. Open an admin command prompt. Code: cd %ProgramFiles(X86)%\Microsoft\Edge\Application\YOUR VERSION NUMBER\Installer setup --uninstall --force-uninstall --system-level Edge is gone. Change file associations to another browser. Re-install from the Store. Why do you need to remove it?
Actually found a way to remove all their s* from my laptop Included the uup teams version But it piss me off
Their not offering solutions, just complaining. Did they check logs, processes, new apps, etc. Nothing noted but that it takes 5 more seconds to boot. In Linux one could execute "systemd-analyze" or "systemd-analyze blame" , "sudo dmesg" or "journalctl" to check for faults. I'm sure Windows has similar analysis. For one the Troubleshoot section, Event Viewer, etc.
I found very funny how 1/3 of people here went though the 5 stages of grief about win11 since 22000.51 (21996 looked like more win10) While i may also upgrade, this will be the first time i will use a program to reemplace the start menu, and most likely the bar too... (and im writing from an Win8.1 system)
22000.194 is Win 11 to be released next Tue. 5 Oct. to Public. 22468.1000 is Beta & WILL Expire. It is in early stage of Development. What ever it becomes won't be Released till Oct. 2022.
only numbskulls with no IT experience whatsoever would ever compare latest win 10 or release channel win 11 to dev channel win 11 - dev channel performance/bugs not even worth comparing to stable as it is complete test from build to build and even driver updates for that complete dev and alpha - ask us summer 2022 and that when majority upgrade to next win 11 when build starts getting cu on the build and maybe second cu just to be fairly stable dev channel only for vm or spare machines or multiboot with lots of storage or external storage to test
On UUP dump? By setting convertconfig to: Code: vDeleteSource=1 This will delete pro and leaving only enterprise on the created ISO.
192 isnt the greatest far from it with its bugs galore still in it and why would people go back to 152 when ya mean 252
Dead right, meant 22000.252 -- fixed that. And yes 22000.192 is the latest and greatest, BUT your right, its far from bug free. Gone are the days M$ tries to release a a new operating system bug free, its more lets get it out there, and we fix the mistakes later.
