[DISCUSSION] Windows 11 Official Build 22000.xxx (PC) [co_release]

Of download? That doesn't make sense. I don't know the one in the start menu.

 

After so many updates, especially after the big Feb-22 update published recently, is it now possible to resize the taskbar in W11 (Use small Taskbar Button feature like in W10) without any reg or other tweak?

And, any way to use the new media player app package in W10?

 

Anyone with mechanical keyboard getting double typing letters?

 

I wouldn't advice installing the media player app on 10, it will probably fail when trying to update. It will probably get released to 10 in near future as the groove music app will be obsolete. If anyone in any other country apart from US as installed WSA ..you'll need to download APK installer from the store to sideload android apps, amazon app store isn't available for other countries. Try APKMIrror on the web for android apps or APKPure

 

Jesus ...is the task bar supposed to auto close the startmenu after you move the mouse? seems buggy af. Im getting freezes with typing to?

 

Not happening here.

 

WU will give you the latest public updates from ANY 22000.x build, whether it be .1, .9 or whatever. It will only give you the IP updates if you have signed on as an Insider (or used a kludge to make it think you're an insider).

It happened to me today. I disabled the widgets icon from the taskbar and that fixed it.

 

There was an update waiting for me today, not cumulative and was ready to install, i clicked install and it vanished lol

 

Same behaviour on my PC.

H'mm strange as some of my icons on taskbar have a background of pink..this pink background comes and goes and have no idea why.
Edit:- It looks like Firefox might be causing the problem as with any colour on the screen it drift to the task bar e.g. while typing this the background messages is a grey/blue this colour is on the task bar as well.

 

Just found out that the virtual machine platform adds memory latency, ive gone for 68ns to 81ns. Why? its not running ..only installed for WSA. WSA is turned off and set to on demand.. Thats a large amount when it memory, means its taking longer to process

I think latest patch is bugged for sure, warzone force closed itself after 3 hours, yesterday i had a game running in background while watching something in edge and the the screen went black ...couldnt click on anything. Never had issues like this before. Task bar was still showing but frozen. ctrl alt /del i could sign out
