How can one remove Windows Terminal from startup (it appears as disabled)? It doesn't even appear in CCleaner and Revo Uninstaller. Regarding Edge, it appears as disabled in startup but as enabled in Revo Uninstaller and if one removes it in the latter and runs Edge, it will appear as disabled in startup but as enabled in Revo Uninstaller.
This is a perma fix for teredo being disabled no matter what you try ... netsh int teredo set state natawareclient .. in command prompt. To check if your affected run this first Netsh Int Teredo Show Stat. It affects your multiplayer experience for games like xbox gamepass and others.Worms rumble would not work at all untill i changed the client
Open terminal and click do not run on startup, you cant remove the entry by default as it will break the terminal startup if you should ever want to run it at logon. There is tools to remove startup entries if you wish to do so. Just search online.
So I have a question, on a test system specifically a dell 9020 with an i7-4790, 32 GB ram, with UEFI and secure boot enabled, and TPM 1.2, (not a module, it's build in on the MB, and not updatable) using the Rufus to bypass the regs for windows 11 I installed and currently testing the performance which at this point seem very stable. My question is has MS started blocking updates? Or has anyone experienced this yet? I am not to worried as I always use WUI10 to install updates just asking if there is a real world incident of them blocking updates for unsupported/bypassed hardware check.
No monthly security, preview or other type of update has been blocked so far, and we're closing in on half a year. But in January things changed in Insider builds couple times. New dev build = feature update via windows automatic updates stopped working for those both bypassing requirements and enrolling to Dev channel. Most likely, the next feature update in release will have the same blocking mechanism, so you won't get it automatically. You will however be able to install it manually from iso just fine. Stop worrying and ignore the trolls repeating it ad nauseam on reddit.
Changing the client to nataware, just shows teredo working is all. Was for another post i posted.. Yes your right ..autoruns doesnt even pick it up
Fair. It's just the biggest vector pushing that narrative tirelessly since 11 release, veritable enablers for microsoft to actually do it. And it's not masochism - it's hate. Something, something, hit people already down, feel good about meritless things like being born rich, housing prices artificially high to keep poor people out and stuff like that but on the internet, something.
