The time/date is somehow broken, and takes time to update, I had hard time get the time zone right, it kept adding 1h to my time. It has some weird way to repond... I kept changing the time zone and applying the settings until it worked.
Well, it seems my pc says me again Windows 11 is unsupported due to lack of secure boot and TPM 2.0. Currently I'm in Dev Channel and the 22000.51 download stops at 8% and shows the warning pop up. Idk why this happens, Microsoft said they're going to let unsupported hardware with the exception of TPM 2.0 and SB. How can I deal with that?
It seems to only refresh the time/date area of the taskbar once per minute, so any changes you make to the timezone or format of the clock will usually have some delay before they appear. The time format updates (except I've found that changing the "sShortTime" registry key to the format "HH:mm:ss" does not add seconds to the taskbar time, it remains hours:minutes), but the date format never seems to change, no matter what changes are made to it.
Also disappointed by this in the new Win-X menu, something I used constantly, hope they fix it. I always customize the Win-X menu and run my most used programs from it, been messing with Win-X menu editor but I sense it may need an update for Win 11. Have often wished they'd expand the Win-X menu, ability for branches/small icons etc. Same here, first step is to always reduce the height of the Taskbar which can be done via a registry entry in Win 11. Then restore the Quick Launch bar, but it looks like the ability to do so has been removed.
Well managed to upgrade win 11 on one HD 64 bits(Public win 10) but my old HD (fast insider) running win 10 is 32bits....Does anyone know of a link to download win 11 32bits?
Hi everyone! I love this OS! All programs including antivirus and drivers installed properly, except for the Cannon PIXMA MP495 driver. I am very upset about this. I would like to use the system as my main system.
Any one have any clue how to disable automatic driver installation? I did fresh installation of w11 on my laptop and updated all drivers to the latest available then after restart system downloading from wu older drivers and installing it in the background. This cause that one driver is not compatible with my computer and now after restart i have GSOD. Another problem where can I find power button setings? on w xp, 7, 8, 10 there are setings and i can adjust power button behavior and laptop lid. I couldn't find these setings + add own power plan.
We have a Canon MG 5650, initially Windows did not see it, but after reconfiguring it to connect to the router with a static IP, it recognised it and installed the appropriate drives. We also have another HP which is configured the same way, it also was detected and properly configured, except for the FAX and OCR functions. These needed the full HP drivers.
