Yeah I meant H2 October/November but wrote Q2 :X I saw that there will only be one release per year for Win 11. Ok, I will have to wait..
Yes, only 22H2 will have the optional apps option current 22000 UUP files set does not / will not change
@Enthousiast @abbodi1406 I'm on 22H2 (22598.200) and HDR is greyed out for me - I'm not able to select it. I have the Ultimate Performance power plan and it won't let me turn HDR on. If I select 'Balanced' it works but I need it to work under Ultimate Performance. It worked just fine before I updated to 22H2. Any help?
the current UUPD 'ConvertConfig.ini' script have an option to set the app level as per the user choice while making an ISO Code: AppsLevel= 0= add all referenced Apps 1= Store, Security Health only 2= level 1 apps + Photos, Camera, Notepad, Paint 3= level 2 apps + Terminal, App Installer, Widgets Is this the same thing that we're discussing? SV2 gonna get this option officially by MSFT?
When doing a Windows install, a clean install is preferred. The way I go about this is to shut down the computer and disconnect any and all drives (hard drives, SSD, whatever) EXCEPT for the drive that will be used for the installation. Then boot from the flash drive, wipe any and all partitions, and choose to install to the "unallocated space". The windows installer will do it's thing, no need to worry about it. Of course, you can't do this if you have a data partition on the same drive, separate from the OS partition. In that case, delete all partitions except for the data partition. And then choose the unallocated space.
No official pre-built ISOs will contain all referenced Apps as usual the difference is that when you upgrade from pre-22H2 to 22H2 via Windows Update, removed apps will not get downloaded or reinstalled
Hey guys, a quick question. Is there a smooth, 100 % legit method of activating 11, installed via flash disk from official media creation tools? I am redoing an older PC and need to install and activate either 10 or 11. I used a very smooth method called "massgravel" at 10, worked perfectly, all updates OK. Is there anything similar for 11? Thanks a lot!
No, actually, it's the very same! Use version 1.5 for best results. But no way you turn it, any activation without owning the correct license will never be "legit".
Updated the Win 11 (22000.652.1.16) Updates Overview: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...d-22000-xxx-pc-co_release.83722/#post-1669627
you can just write it (winver) without putting such a big screenshot unnecessarily if you still wanna showcase it here, crop it or better put it as a 'thumbnail' instead of a full image while attaching.
No, that was 651 IP Release Preview.... https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-11-hotfix-repository.83741/page-31#post-1731138
Except for the boot (C) drive. I've other two HDDs in my system I've selected the 'enhanced' option under find my files (search) so that files stored in D & E local HDD can be shown in the STRAT search result but still, local files ain't appearing into START search, then I checked the advance indexing option & noticed those two HDD drives ain't listed over there, so I manually modified & allocated those drives, now everything seems to be ok ie. local files are showing in search from the START Is this behaviour normal? AFAIK, if the user selects the enhanced search option in the find my file section (2nd screenshot), then all the local drives should be automatically checked & selected under the indexing option.
